Team Leaders, the MSHSL State Championship is just around the corner followed all too closely by the State Fair.  Here is some additional information on both.

MSHSL/FIRST State Championship

In a change from past years, the Championship will be held in Williams Arena this season.  The competition date is May 18 with Opening Ceremonies starting at 8:15am.  Also in a change this year, KnightKrawler, FIRST Team 2052, will be webcasting the Championship. That means the webcast will be free.  There will be two streams:

Minnesota State Fair

There are still open slots for teams to exhibit at the Fair. The dates are Tuesday, Aug 27, Wednesday, Aug 28, Saturday, Aug 31, and Sunday, Sept 1. If your team would like to participate, please contact Jay Nix (jay.nix006@gmail.com).  Also, don’t forget STEM Day at the Fair where various afterschool programs showcase their offerings.  This is the first day of the Fair, Aug 22, in Dan Patch Park (in front of the Grandstand).   I am looking for a few teams who are interested in promoting FRC to the general public (markbawrence@gmail.com).
