Team Leaders, here are two important pieces of information – one concerning the MSHSL State Championship and the other the Upper Midwest Regional awards show. Please share this info with all your team members.
MSHSL qualification for teams who missed the opt-in deadline
FIRST has discovered that a number of teams that intended to participate in the INFINITE RECHARGE at Home Skills Challenge missed the opt-in deadline and will be allowing those teams to submit unofficial scores to still participate in the challenge in some form. Teams that are in this category ARE eligible for the MSHSL tournament. FIRST is placing all of these teams in the “Samarium Group” for the Skills Challenge, so be aware that the size of that group will have an impact on your calculated score. We will not be making any adjustments to calculated scores from this group when determining MSHSL qualification.
Upper Midwest Regional Awards webcast
The Upper Midwest Regional awards webcast will be held on Thursday, May 13th, 7:00pm CDT. The event will broadcast on one of the FIRST Twitch TV channels. Details on the specific channel and length of the show will come out as the date gets closer.
