Team Leaders,

MSHSL/FIRST State Championship

Week 6, the last competition weekend, is complete and the final State Championship qualification rankings are posted (https://mnfirst.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/2019MSHSL-Week-6.pdf ).  The top 36 teams qualify for the event.  In a change from past years, the Championship will be held in Williams Arena this season.  The dates are Friday, May 17th,  for load-in, pit setup, and robot inspections and Saturday, May 18th, for the competition.  I will be in touch with qualifying teams for attendance verification and event details.

If your team is going to the World Championship in Detroit and is playing in the MSHSL/FIRST State Championship, it is highly recommend that you bring your robot back with your team from Detroit.  The link to apply for a shipping exemption is here (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfzV3c86CB43ZvC94ZoxC_V7QFIm1UleIHNWqnL-FI4xqcsJw/viewform ).  April 20th is the deadline for the Detroit Championship.

MURA Practice Field

Trying to tune up your driving or mechanisms for the World Championship or the MSHSL/FIRST State Championship?  The MURA field is open to all.  The days will be Thursday and Saturday between now and the State Championship with the exception of Worlds week.  All the details can be found at (https://mnfirst.org/first-community-resources/mura-practice-field/ ).  See you there.
