Team Leaders,

Week 5 is in the books. There’s one more week of competition and then winning teams will be looking forward to the Detroit World Championship and the MSHSL State Championship (FYI, it will be at Williams Arena this year).

As a well deserved break from your teams’ robots, here’s a fun outing for teams, friends and family to support a group of college teams (including the U of MN) coming to Minneapolis to play the basketball game,  H-O-R-S-E,  with robots. Their robots will look very familiar because they are using kits from AndyMark. Here’s the Land O’Lakes website with details (https://features.landolakesinc.com/bot-shot ).  The event is free but you’ll need to RSVP here (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/land-olakes-bot-shot-championship-tickets-58759097041 ) as seats are limited.

Below is a short blurb to get your teams excited, and attached is a graphic to share on social channels to spread the word far and wide:

Join Land O’Lakes Inc., top tier University robotics teams and basketball legends David Robinson and Christian Laettner for a once in a lifetime robotics competition on Sunday April 7th from 12pm to 2pm at DeLaSalle High School in Minneapolis, MN.
