Hello Upper Midwest FRC Team Leaders,
We are attempting to reach as many teams as possible throughout our Upper Midwest region, including MN, ND, and SD. This means that some of you may receive multiple copies of this email. Apologies for these duplicates. And please forward these emails to mentors on your team as well as to others that you may recuit to assist our FRC teams!
With that top of mind, FRC Team leads are needed! Help support our high school students by leading FIRST Robotics teams. We have openings throughout Minnesota for individuals willing to become the lead mentor/primary contact for veteran teams. Some of these openings are at schools with stipend postions. Contact Ken Rosen, Minnesotas Regional Director (krosen@umn.edu).

Jumpstart for Mentors at Delta ModTech:
https://www.jumpstartrobotics.org/jumpstart-for-mentors
Join us on October 2, 2021 for a chance to reconnect with other mentors and rebuild your network among the FIRST Community! We will be starting the day at 8:30AM for coffee and other refreshments. The scheduled day will start with a welcome by Delta ModTech’s own Todd Kruse. You may know Todd from his work mentoring multiple FRC teams including 3840, 7068, and most recently – 8516!
The daywhich will wrap up by 2:00 pm– will include sessions presented by Wendy Stromberg (Delta ModTech), Laurie Shimizu (1816), Alex Jurek (4607), and the aforementioned Todd Kruse. These sessions are designed to aid and retool mentors and coaches alike to tackle the obstacles of an FRC season with special attention to this upcoming season. We are well aware that many – if not all – of our teams will be young, green, and lacking experience. This year’s Jumpstart for Mentors will be the most important to date. We hope to see all of you soon!
