Team Leaders, we are expecting information shortly from FIRST on the upcoming season and this week from MSHSL on after-school activities.  In the meantime, here are a couple of opportunities for your students for the first couple of weeks in August.

Hack-A-Thon

Join your peers and women in tech for a virtual Bright Ideas Hack-A-Thon on August 13 (9am-3pm), and August 14 (9am-noon).   You’ll work in small groups to generate ideas to solve issues of importance to you and your peers, then get after IT!   IT’ll be funtastic… The event description is below, as is the link to learn more, and get registered.  Don’t delay, as virtual seats are limited!

Bright Ideas Hack-A-Thon is an online event sponsored by MNAiC. At this event, students will work in groups to identify a product or service that solves a social or business problem. Participants will take on a designated role to pitch the idea. Participants can have the best product in the world, but if it can’t be successfully pitched; the idea will not take off! Join this exciting event, make new friends, and learn from others.
