Team Leaders, we’re heading into the 2nd half of build season and I’m sure many of you are unable to build right now because of closed schools.  The answer is  “no” that will not extend bag day.  Stay warm and safe.

Local Team and Building Resources

Here’s a reminder to utilize the resources that are available to help during your build time.  The FIRST Community Resources tab on the home page (https://mnfirst.org/# ) lists lots of opportunities to get help.  Remember don’t wait until the competition to ask for help.

SpecCheck –

SpecCheck is geared towards getting your robot and team ready for competition (https://mnfirst.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/SpecCheck-Flyer.pdf ).  The robot will go through a mock inspection based off of the 2019 manual and rules prior to Week Zero events.  SpecCheck is open to all teams free of charge!

Week Zero events

The Week Zero events are filling quickly so make sure you act now to get in.  The complete list can be found on this webpage  (https://mnfirst.org/off-season-events/week-0-events/ ).

MN/ND Regional events

We are finalizing lunch options this week (given the weather, it will probably move into next week) for the Grand Forks, Duluth, and Minneapolis regionals.  I’ll put an email out as soon as I have menus and pricing.  Daily schedules are posted on the event pages on the FIRST website.
