Girls Can’t Be Engineers?

Join 15,000 women engineers from around the globe in Minneapolis, MN this fall to prove that girls can in fact, be engineers!

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE), Girl Scouts River Valley, WGBH -Design Squad Global, Techbridge and the ExxonMobil Foundation will host the 9th annual “Invent it. Build it.” at the Society of Women Engineers annual conference.

This traveling conference will be making this year’s stop at The Minneapolis Convention Center on Saturday, October 20th, 2018.

Please join us and help us promote this unique event with special programming for middle school girls, high school girls, parents and educators.

Everyone will learn about engineering clubs, camps, after-school programs, colleges, and competitions at the Outreach EXPO. See our 2018 exhibitors here.
Middle school girls will build a wind power station with women engineers lead by Design Squad Global star, Desyi Melgar.
High school girls will create a robotic hydraulic arm with women engineers lead by race car driver, Ariel Biggs.
Parents and educators will talk with STEM and college experts and complete their own engineering challenge.

We will sell out! Registration is limited, required and closes on October 13th.
