Mpls-St. Paul Maker Faire
The Maker Faire has asked FRC to combine our efforts in presenting the work teams have done on game robots. Your team can still have a separate booth but they request that you not show your competition robot. Here’s an overview of the Marker Faire:
http://msp.makerfaire.com/
The date for the Faire is June 2nd from 10am to 6pm. The booth will be located inside the Grandstand at the MN State Fair grounds. Details on load-in, etc. can be found at (http://msp.makerfaire.com/
Education Day is on Friday, June 1st. The purpose is to exhibit for qualifying 7th graders to help get students excited about making and STEM. For more details, see (http://msp.makerfaire.com/
If your team is interested in presenting at the Faire, please let me know (MarkL56821@aol.com)
STEM day at the MN State Fair
The annual STEM Day at the Minnesota State Fair is Aug 23rd. Much like the Maker Faire, FRC is being asked to consolidate our efforts into a single booth. So, if you exhibited individually as a team previously, you’ll now be asked to combine with the overall FRC booth. If your team would like to exhibit on STEM Day, please let me know (MarkL56821@aol.com). Note, this is separate from exhibiting in the Education building.
